Automatic Lines for Valve Bags

Valve Bag Filler ITTC

ITTC valve bag fillers are equipped with a unique horizontal impeller and auger bag filling system.The system is specifically designed to package floury type products such as flour, yeast, and gluten. Product is fed to the impeller by the pre weigh batch scale, which in turn feeds the product to the auger, and the auger into the bag.

Each ITTC is capable of a maximum production speed of between 350-420 bags/hour depending on the type of product and bag. If higher production rates are required, a battery of up to 4 machines may be placed in line for production speeds of between 1200-1400 bags/hour.

ITTC series valve bag fillers may optioned with the following features :

  • TRANSFER automatic bag placing unit
  • Automatic bag chair height adjustment
  • Automatic bag kick off onto take-away conveyor
  • Integrated bag vibration to obtain an optimum settlement of the product inside the bag.

Equipped with these options, the machine becomes completely automated

<p><strong>Automatic line that fills the bag with the product and weighs it simultaneously, until the bag reaches the programmed weight.</strong></p> <p>TECNO weighing-bagging machines are equipped with a screw feeder bag filling system. This versatile system is ideal for products with dusty or floury characteristics, yet they are also suited to granular or pelletized products. All product feed systems are equipped with dual phase filling modes (COURSE feed and FINE feed) to ensure precise dosing of the product.</p> <p>According to the product to be bagged, the machine may be equipped with one of the feeding systems: gravity, turbine, belt, screw feeder, double screw feeder, vibrating channel.  The bagging head – which receives the product from the dosing system – together with the whole filling structure (such as the screw feeder, bag-positioning device, etc…) is connected to the weighing system, which stands alone from the rest of the machine.</p> <p>The output of TECNO MT machines varies from 150 – 200 bags/hour.</p> <p>The electronic weighing systems feature a filling assembly that is supported by load cell and connected to the electronic weight controller. The weight controller it is composed by:</p> <ul> <li>A 7” colour graphic display that allows the visualization of the bag weights and may other parameters;</li> <li>An internal CPU to process all the weighing data.</li> </ul> <p>The main advantage of this electronic systems lies in their ability to constantly self-monitor and automatically correct for any changes product properties.</p> <p><strong>Optional:</strong></p> <ul> <li>TRANSFER automatic bag plácer;</li> <li>Automatic bag support height adjustment;</li> <li>Automatic bag kick-off on bag evacuation conveyor;</li> <li>Movable version on castors;</li> <li>SON SEAL ultrasonic bag sealer.</li> </ul>

<p><strong>The valve bag fillers are just machines that fill the product into the bag.</strong></p> <ul> <li>In this case the product has been already pre-weight by a net weigher (weigh hopper) above the filler.</li> <li>There is a wide range of valve fillers according to the specific product to pack.</li> </ul>

<p><strong>The empty bag, stacked on the bag magazine, is taken from the robotic arm, it opens the bag’s valve and position it on the fill spout, where a double detection device checks the proper placing to enable the packer to fill the bag.</strong></p> <p>The Transfer is so famous for its proven simplicity and reliability. At today we’ve sold and installed more than 2000 of those around the world.</p> <p><strong>It can reach a max speed of 400 bags/h. </strong></p> <p>The new TRANSFER – the further evolution of the industry recognized optimal automated bag placer for valve bags. Recently it was redesigned by adopting the latest actuation technologies further improving the automation. The implementation of closed-loop hydraulics renders all the various rotating and tilting movements especially smooth.</p> <p>Unlike conventional pneumatics, the hydraulics deliver a shock absorbing action, boosting fluidity in bag retrieval and bag feeding. Articulation is progressive and servo-like with no abrupt movement and impact against mechanical stops typical of conventional pneumatic actuation. Vibration is eliminated.</p> <p>The automation is completely silent: hydraulics does not require any cyclical discharges which usually generate noise due to the use of pneumatics. Empty bags are picked up by a specially designed pneumatic cylinder featuring a drilled shaft through which vacuum is drawn by a high reliable and maintenance free vacuum generator. This solution facilitated saving 50% energy over older designs, as the system works only when necessary.</p>
