C-Type / CI-Type Impulse Heat-Sealing Machines

Sealing length and range

The C-Type impulse heat-sealing machines are produced in five different sealing bar lengths, giving maximum flexibility to match the right machine size to the right application. Smaller models offer the most space-saving solution for small bag sizes, while the largest model offers the most flexible solution when packaging uses a variety of bag sizes, since all can be sealed on a single machine. The right size should be chosen based on the largest bag used in the packaging process.

All C-Type machines work on the impulse sealing principle: the sealing wire only heats up when the sealing bar is closed. Every model is also able to seal narrower packaging films than its maximum width, with no mechanical adjustment needed.

Sealing bar guiding funnel

A specially designed guiding funnel technology makes closing the sealing bar safe and stable, guiding even the longer sealing bars smoothly into a parallel closing position via the closing handle. The funnel ensures the entire length of the sealing bar sits exactly above the sealing wire at all times, and closing the bar via the front-right handle guarantees consistent pressure along its full length. The handle and funnel are made of ultra-strong fibre-reinforced plastic.

Machine frame

The body and sealing bar are made of ultra-strong magnesium-aluminium profile, providing a super-strong base and an absolutely flat surface for the impulse sealing wire, with aluminium ribs inside the frame ensuring fast cooling after each cycle.

C-Type machines have a powder-painted surface, assembled with such precision that there isn't a single gap in the frame — no exposed cables, no openings. CI-Type machines feature a silver anodised surface instead, suitable for the food, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries: the anodising treatment makes the aluminium profile smooth, strengthened, and more resistant to scratches and impact.

Impulse sealing technology

The specially designed sealing wire tensioning system maintains optimal wire tension at any temperature, allowing the wire to expand and move freely in the longitudinal direction as it heats, without losing tension. The sealing wire's surface is entirely PTFE-coated, preventing the bag material from sticking. Each machine also includes an integrated safety cutting knife system, allowing bags to be produced from tubular film or excess film to be trimmed off after sealing.

Sealing time and temperature control

Sealing time is adjustable, and the sealing wire is time-controlled: temperature increases automatically as sealing time is increased, while cooling time cannot be set independently.

An LED light above the control knob indicates the machine's status:

• Off – unplugged/switched off (safe for storage or repair)
• Yellow – plugged in, standby mode
• Red – sealing bar closed, actively sealing; returns to yellow once the set time elapses

For the best result, it's recommended to keep the sealing bar closed under pressure for an additional 1–2 seconds after the light turns back to yellow.

Safety

• Safety cutting knife system – the blade is safely housed inside the aluminium sealing bar, so the operator cannot be cut before it's deliberately activated by pushing it down and sliding it along the bar; on release, it slides back into its protected position.

• Impulse sealing technology – the wire heats up only when the sealing bar is fully closed. If the bar is opened before the cycle finishes, heating shuts off automatically, eliminating the risk of burns.

• Totally closed machine body – no gaps, no exposed cabling, every electrical connection properly enclosed; the sealing wire is covered along its full length with PTFE tape.

Modular system

Each C-Type machine can be equipped with the following accessories:

• Working table
• Film holding rolls with guiding plates
